I have been gambling online or at land based gambling dens for a lot of years. I have found out, the fixation can acquire a hold of you and you will not even realize it till you are bankrupt. Especially if you are on a profit streak. I have gone through many hundreds of dollars in just a short period of time and even today, I sometimes go a bit too far. It feels like you are just having fun up till you choose to contemplate your loss and the anguish settles in, and then you continue telling yourself "I am able to gain the money back" again and again. It never works. Then you feel queasy in your stomach and the harder you try the quicker you relinquish.
When you find that you are up, Remain on the UP! When you begin to relinquish, do not tell yourself, "well only 1 more" over and over again, trust me, this plan RARELY ever works. Say you are wagering on one armed bandits, keep a value separate prior to beginning your wagering. DO NOT exceed that threshold, regardless of how appealing. If you happen to profit, put that in a separate pot. Do not wager your payouts at any cost. Once you have wagered through your beginning predetermined threshold, stop. Call it quits, regardless if it’s on the web or in a brick and mortar gambling hall, do not stick at the tables or machines. Make sure to remember, there will be other days, other times. Obviously, this method usually will function for any game that you wager on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, chemin de fer or any other game.
Keep in mind, wagering should be exciting not demanding, appalling work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you cannot afford the hit, don’t even start.
