Learning From My Gambling Blunders

First to clarify why I write this article. I have been wagering online or at land-based casinos for many years. I have learned, the dependency can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are flat broke. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very tiny amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having fun until you decide to track your losses and the guilt settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can get it back" constantly. It doesn’t works. Then you become sick in your gut and the more you attempt the quicker you are deprived.

When you notice that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, trust me, this concept almost never ever operates. Say you’re playing on slot games, have an amount set to the side prior to beginning your play. DO NOT exceed that limit, regardless how alluring. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate canister. Don’t use your profits no matter what. As soon as you’ve gone through your primary set limit, call it a day. Head out, regardless if it is on the web or at a land-based betting house, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, a different time.

Keep in mind, gambling should be FUN not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the loss, don’t even begin.
